Conveyancing is the legal term for the process whereby a person, company, close corporation or trust becomes the registered and legal owner of immovable property and ensures that this ownership cannot be challenged. Our firm can assist with the registration of the transfer and mortgage bond over immovable property.

Transfer:

We can assist with the drafting of a sales agreement once the parties have agreed on the terms of sale.

Once an agreement has been signed and we have received instructions from either the parties or the estate agent:

We will immediately write to all parties involved and confirm the basic conditions of the agreement. In this initial letter we will confirm the normal procedures to effect the registration of the transfer.

Our firm features an automatic system which will notify you of every step we take in the transfer process.

A client will receive an update every Friday containing the progress that has been made in his/her matter.

Mortgage Bonds:

Our firm is currently on the panel of three major banks. Once the bank has instructed us to register the mortgage bond, our firm will immediately contact the client to confirm the instructions with any special conditions. The client will receive regular updates on the progress that is being made.
